Helene Fleming is a licensed REALTOR and a member of the Tiftarea board of REALTORS®. In 2007, Helene sold a home for one of her customers which now gives her the distinction of having the largest real estate sale in Tift County. She has lived in Tifton since 1972 and is equipped with athorough understanding of our community and its resources.Helene's community involvement includes having served on the followingboards: Tift County Library Board (served as Secretary, Vice-Chair andChairman), the Tif t County Foundation for Educational Excellence (servedon Reading Capital of the World Committee, Incentive Grant and Excellencein Teaching Award Committees), the PTO boards for Len Lastinger, MattWilson, Tift County Junior High School (served as Presid ent.) and theNortheast Campus of Tift County High School (served as President.twice),Magnolia Garden Club (served as Secretary,Program chair and vice-Pres.)and the Tifton Museum of Art and Heritage (Chairman of Volunteer andMembership Committee,wrote and developed a program for the establishment of a Guild). She is a member of First United Methodist Church.
Helene is married to Carlton A. Fleming, Attorney with Sims, Fleming andBenson and has three children, Virginia (Gin), a clinical pharmacist whois an assistant professor at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacyand serves St. Mary's Hospital in Athens, GA as a clinical pharmacist andestablishes sites for UGA pharmacy students there, John, who is anattorney with the firm Reynolds Horne & Survant in Macon, GA . He and hiswife, Caroline have 3 daughters, Libba (born 1/23/08), Mary Margaret (born 11/16/10) and Isabelle (born 12/11/12) and Ridley, who is married toJeffrey Baird and lives in Marietta. She works for HPI direct in theproduct development and design department. Helene and her husband and all three of their children attended the Univ ersity of Georgia and are avid"bulldawg" fans!!
